What is the thread size for front beads on shotguns ?
Beretta and Brownings please. Reason for asking is a friend is struggling to fit on his guns .

Beretta Shotgun Thread Sizes
Standard Field / Semi-Auto / Over-Under Front Bead: 2.6 mm (M2.6 x 0.45)
Alternative / Older / Intermittent Fit: 3-56 or 2.5 x 0.45 mm (some mid-beads or specialty ribs)
Factory 3mm Options: Some specific replacement beads labeled as 3mm exist for select lines, though 2.6mm is standard for ribs.
Browning Thread Sizes
3x56: 12 gauge Citori Sporting Clays, Cynergy, Gold, Silver, and Superposed.
3x0.5mm: Classic A-5 (plain and vent), Maxus, and "New" A-5.
5x40: 16, 20, 28, and .410 gauge Citori field models.
2.6mm: Certain specialized models like the Citori 725 Trap.

When I broke off a front bead on my Beretta 687 SPII Sporting I bought a small assortment of Beretta beads and picked the one of four or five that I wanted, and replaced it.
Not sure I understand the problem here. If Beretta beads are available, and I think they are, why worry about matching threads? Just order an original.
