This is the gun that followed me home Sunday from the gun show. A 10 ga Parker lifter that someone has removed the top rib and added a 44-40 barrel. Who ever did the work knew what they were doing. They dovetailed in a new rifle extractor to the shotgun extractor. The firing pin mechanism will drop down when the peep sight is raised so that the right hammer will hit it. When the peep is in the down position it holds the firing pin up and out of the way so that the shotgun can be fired. Bores all look pretty good but need a good cleaning. The right hammer face is badly pitted, so much so that I don't know if it would fire the rifle. I'll weld it up and reface it. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/7nP5Cnt.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/K4gIdJp.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/TfCACL9.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/TY9ghXd.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/UAGJME5.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/cRGht03.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/3ZoOXJQ.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/m4PHyuf.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/Nux0FhP.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/qiOH2mx.jpg) [img] https://i.imgur.com/VlYlo4l.jpg[/img] [img] https://i.imgur.com/CxcL2oa.jpg[/img] [img] https://i.imgur.com/AL74Tft.jpg[/img]

Is it off face? That black line between the standing breech and the barrel breech faces looks mighty big in the pics. Hoping it's just bad lighting.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

That's really neat. Any idea if it wore a straight-hand stock right out of the gate?

It looks original to me. If someone did restock it, it was a very long time ago. Someone really messed the checkering up badly.

Researcher do you think it was a smith add on or factory job? Sure look factory to me. Google said that Parker never made any drillings.
