It appears people in Oregon will be able to lawfully fish and hunt for a bit longer:

https://oregoncapitalchronicle.com/...-of-animals-wont-be-on-november-ballots/

I’ll be honest, I’m mortified this got as far as it did. But, good work to those who took the effort to get it shot down, pardon the pun.

Best,
Ted

“Backers of the animal cruelty initiative, who did not immediately return a call for comment Friday, reported handing in 142,784 signatures. But through two statistical samples, state election officials determined that just 104,262 of those signatures matched individual Oregon voters’ signature records. Election officials compare signatures submitted to voter records and exclude duplicates.”

A lot of times I’ll sign these with a made up name like Gary Indiana or Lonny Rhodes.

I usually sign the wedding or funeral guest book “Richard M. Nixon”.

In a bizarre world where we actually have gun owners who proudly support or vote for anti-gun Democrats, I wouldn't be at all shocked to learn the petition for this anti-hunting and fishing ballot initiative was signed by some people who enjoy hunting and fishing.

One of the anti-gun supporting Democrat voters even gave your Post a "Like" Ted.

Because you really can't fix stupid.

Hint: it wasn't Jt or Stan. But you knew that.

Princess Karen,
You seem upset since you have discovered that not everyone votes the way that you do, poor thing.

If my kind offer of a very, very small package of sand and short length of rope didn't appeal to you, I'm happy to offer you a stuffy, a sheep seems quite fitting, and on the stuffy you can show me where it hurts wink

All my best and say hello to bIg dAddy frAnk for me smile

Princess Stevie, I do understand that some people may have higher priorities than Gun Rights. So they vote for Democrat candidates that perjure themselves by swearing to Preserve, Protect, and Defend the Constitution, and then work relentlessly to infringe upon the 2nd Amendment.

It's interesting to see that you can do that. even as someone who makes a living from the firearms industry. And especially after your recent pronouncements that you won't be voting for any Republican because you have TDS and perceive Donald Trump as a criminal. But somehow, Democrat crimes don't bother you a bit. They never have, which is why it was always obvious that you lied to us when you claimed to be an Independent Moderate.

I sure wouldn't spend even a penny to hire a gunsmith who was foolish enough to support anti-gunners.

But I do understand how you must feel that issues like Gay and Transgender rights, that are not enshrined in the Bill of Rights, would be much more important to you than seeing our Gun Rights go away as they have in Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Cuba, Russia, etc.

It's also amusing to see you keep trying to impose your own perverted sexual preferences upon me or jOe. Of course, he did frequently upset you by shining a light in the closet where you hide.

Criminals that illegally take my money from me won't get my vote, Democrat, Republican or Independant, and I certainly won't be voting for team MAGA after the mess Trump has made of the economy and foreign policy, especially his failed and illegal tariff policy. The third unwarranted war of this century brought to us by the GOP is another point of contention for me. I believe that war should be avoided whenever possible, and that diplomacy should always be the first choice. Here we are, five months into a four week war with no end in sight and by any objective measure, in a strategically much poorer position than before the hostilities began. I simply will not support such failed policy.

Don't worry princess, I stopped taking gunsmithing work on some time ago. I'm not looking for work and certainly not here. I have a list of repeat clients just waiting for the next slot to open. Restoration and custom work keeps me as busy as I care to be these days.

Did you want that stuffy princess? From a distance, you appear to have a terrible case of butt hurt.

Maybe a tissue for your issue?

All my best,
Steve

Anyway….

I always thought of Oregon as having a pretty good outdoor culture, a place that folks gravitated to for the fishing, hunting, and open spaces. People I went to school with relocated there, one went to work for the railroad, one went to Freightliner, they should be at the end of long, productive careers about now. Both hunted and fished.

I don’t see people relocating to New Jersey, Hawaii, or Rhode Island for the wide open spaces and hunting and fishing opportunities. Oregon, it would seem they would.

I’m troubled by what happened, even if it didn’t come to fruition.

Best,
Ted

A solid, reasonable evaluation, and position, I think.

I have friends out that way, and while they were not concerned that the anti-hunting and fishing idiocy was going to become law, they did what they could to help stomp it flat - without emoting all over social media about it.

Point-by- stupid point Princess Stevie: You have been happily supporting and voting for Democrat criminals for years. Biden didn't Pardon himself, his family, and all of his accomplices for nothing. It would take thousands of words to even begin listing Democrat crimes, and your little anti-NRA friend TransGomer Joff couldn't handle it. I'm sure you don't think it was a crime to divert tax dollars into a scheme to illegally import upwards of 20 million illegal aliens, and to order the Border Patrol, INS, and Customs employees to ignore their duties. Tax dollars that were supposed to go towards infrastructure instead was diverted to flying illegals into the country under cover of darkness. I already mentioned all of the anti-gun Democrats who have perjured themselves by taking a sworn oath to Preserve, Protect, and Defend the Constitution, and then violate that oath by infringing upon the 2nd Amendment.

Trump's foreign policy looks very good to his tens of millions of supporters. Leading through strength versus the utter weakness we saw from your heroes Obama and Biden. We don't see Trump doing nothing as Obama did while Crimea and the Dombass was taken by Putin. We don't see a weakness that emboldened Putin to invade Ukraine. We don't see Trump foolishly withdrawing and losing all gains in Iraq or Afghanistan, and abandoning billions of dollars of weapons to terrorists. We don't see Trump footing most of the bill for NATO, and getting taken advantage of. We have seen him negotiate ends and solutions to a number of global conflicts. Pretty damn good compared to an anti-gun potato who couldn't read cue cards or walk without stumbling.

The Diplomacy you suggest never worked with Iran. It resulted in them becoming the leading sponsor of terrorism in the world. Obama and Kerry lifting sanctions and giving them money only allowed them to buy and supply more and better weapons to use against the U.S. and our allies. Thousands died and oil prices skyrocketed dozens of times as Iran and her proxies created havoc and global uncertainty. Five months of intermittent degradation of Iran and Iran's nuclear program is nothing compared to 47 years of Diplomatic blundering that merely helped them hide a nuclear weapons program and kill many thousands of U.S. soldiers and civilians. But had they succeeded in building and using a nuke, Closet Democrats like you would be blaming Trump... because you are inherently dishonest.

The economy looks pretty good, especially when you consider all of the resources we must expend to undo the damage done by your Democrats. It cost billions to illegally import criminal illegals, and will cost billions to round-up and deport them. A military that was depleted has to be replenished and rebuilt. We are still suffering the damage done by Biden increasing the money supply and creating double-digit inflation. The Strategic Oil Reserve must be refilled. We have only scratched the surface on massive waste, fraud, and corruption that Democrats are still fighting to keep hidden. With all that and more, the returns for the Dow Jones and the S & P 500 are in double digit positive territory, inflation is falling below economists predictions. GDP is also rising since Trump took office. My ExxonMobil stock has risen over 47% in the last year, and the dividends are much greater than any fuel price increases that happened after attacking Iran.

If anyone needs tissues and a stuffed toy Princess Stevie, it would be you. I'll bet you'd love a stuffed gerbil. You are still crying about Trump and his Tariffs. But those Tariffs amount to nothing compared to how cheap you can now buy guns in Great Britain because of laws and restrictions imposed by anti-gun Liberals. However, you are too dumb to connect those simple dots, and understand that any gun owner who supports Democrats and anti-gunners is retarded, and backstabbing the rest of us.

Tariffs and renegotiated Trade Deals are helping to reverse half a century of massive damage done by globalists who offshored tens of millions of jobs and suppressed wages. Tariffs are shutting down factories in China, and helping new factories be built here. If those Tariffs also make you cry like a baby, that's a bonus I never imagined!

Lastly, you keep changing your story Princess Stevie... which isn't unusual for a liar like you. Now you are telling us that business is so good that you aren't even taking on any new work. But several times lately.. you have cried like a baby about how badly Trump has damaged your business, and how much less you are now making. Both things can't be true. You just needed an excuse to explain your intent to support Democrats.

But we all knew you were a Closet Democrat all along. Don't you feel liberated after finally coming out of your Democrat closet Princess? One closet down and one to go...
