Those you who have read Vic Venters book on guncraft may remember a photo in that book of Sweetman as a lad doing a repair at Atkin, Grant and Lang. From there he went to Westley Richards and mastered bolt action rifle making; then to Purdey's to master finishing. He is the real "Top Gun".
