A while back I posted a photo or two of my Gibbs Farquharson in .450 3 1/4" BPE. A previous owner had new pins/screws made I would guess to replace damaged ones. He never had them engraved. To me they stood out like a sore thumb, (but I imagine they looked way better than the old ones). I contacted an engraver and placed them inline to be engraved per an original from a photo. He finished them this morning and they are in the mail. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/afTyUjO.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/GjcBehO.jpg)

That rifle has beautiful engraving. Let us see it after you reinstall the screws and pins.

Ditto to Ted's comment. Stephen has written a lot about engraving and I pretty much have read every post. Welcome back.

Thank you for your kind comments. Today I began engraving the hinge pin of a hammer gun that I rejointed in early November 2025 before my two months in the hospital. Unfortunately, I had nerve damage to some areas of my body while in the hospital and the fingers of my right hand are one of those areas. The engraving of the hinge pin today makes me believe my days of engraving is at about at an end.
Kind Regards; Stephen Howell

It takes awhile but nerves often heal and feeling returns, Stephen. I will be praying that will be the case with yours.
So good to see you posting again.
May God bless America and those who defend her.
