Is there any other source that might hold the records for older Dakota rifles? I’ve already contacted “Jessica” at Parkwest and they don’t seem to have records for older Dakota rifles. Any tips, leads, or general info would be appreciated, thanks!

The rifle in question is a Dakota Model 10. It seems to be an older rifle. It has a weird serial number that begins with FSC followed by a single digit number, a hyphen and then 3 additional numbers. The action & lever are stainless and the barrel blued. Just searching through the interwebs, I haven’t seen too many of these rifles built using a stainless action.
Any ideas?

Glen Morovitz use to work for Dakota Arms. He is an American Custom Gunmaker Guild member and currently teaches at one of the gunsmithing schools out west. I think Wyoming, but just not sure. He may have a clue or be able to help. Super nice guy and very talented gunmaker. Just google Glen as a gunmaker and lots of leads will turn up.
