A friend brought this to my attention, he said it sold quickly. Did anyone here get it? And what are people's thoughts? Any thoughts on who stocked it? Very nice 1903

I tried to buy it... listed price $2999. In short I couldn't get through to a human, and it was already sold by the next AM. I also got HARD SHAFTED by the Lone Tree Co. Cabelas the week before on a great deal.
For 5 days they told me " it was in the shipping room with my name on it.... but wouldn't run my CC until it shipped" in response to my calls about why they hadn't run my card yet?
On the 6th day they told me someone else bought it, sorry. WTF &$&#^$(#)(Q#*$&)*
So I didn't try real hard on what seem like one that had already sailed.

A really beautiful custom '03! I'd assume since it was done by Griffin & Howe that it was also stocked there too? I love the contouring on the barrel, and everything else on this fine rifle.

According to Michael Petrov, G&H 30-06 numbers started at 100, so this may be the 22nd 30-06 out of that shop. Those facts being assumed correct, who was stocking guns at G&H at that early date?
