Our government says that over 100K manufacturing jobs have been lost since the Criminal in Chief took over.

https://www.jec.senate.gov/public/i...manufacturing-industry-lost-108-000-jobs

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/t...oom-but-factory-jobs-continue-to-decline

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/manufacturing-jobs-whirlpool-layoffs-iowa-trump-tariffs/

Tariffs always have been and remain today poor policy, poor policy which I refuse to support.

Pro-trade, pro-business traditional conservative positions I am happy to support, team MAGA not so much.

I'll be happy to vote for the candidates most likely to put an end to this madness though wink

I never really could warm up to the criminal element.

Princess Stevie, it seems apparent that both you and your new boyfriend TransGomer Joff didn't even bother to read the articles you provided links to. Or perhaps you both are simply too agenda driven, or too dumb to understand the information you are Trolling in your latest Trump Derangement Syndrome episode.

Let's take a closer look at the pablum you are trying to feed us. Your first link is from www.jec.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/democrats. So it is a biased report from Senate DEMOCRATS... the same DEMOCRATS that repeatedly gave us erroneous, no, false figures for Unemployment and the GDP during the Biden years, that painted a rosy picture. But then they would be forced to revise those figures to reflect the actual lower performance. Here's just one such revision from a quick Google Search that was roughly eight times worse than the Trump results you are crying about:

The 2024 Benchmark Revision: A major BLS update showed that the economy added 818,000 fewer jobs than originally reported for the 12-month period ending March 2024. This was one of the largest downward benchmark revisions on record, largely impacting the private sector across professional/business services, manufacturing, and retail.

Yes, those same DEMOCRATS that gave us the Russia-Russia-Russia Hoax based on a phony dossier paid for by Hillary and advanced by Obama.... The same DEMOCRATS that quickly destroyed all of the evidence presented in the fake Jan. 6th hearings... The same DEMOCRATS that staged and tampered with evidence during the Mara Largo document raid. Why would anyone trust them???

This Senate DEMOCRAT report states that 108,000 jobs were lost during Trump's first year, and partially blames Trump Tariffs. But it neglects to report the MILLIONS of manufacturing jobs that were lost over decades of Foreign Trade policies that put American workers at a huge disadvantage.... that "Giant sucking sound" that Ross Perot correctly predicted after NAFTA, GATT, and other foolish deals that caused massive unemployment. It also neglects to mention the deals Trump made, up to $445 Billion, to bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. Those deals will of course take time to bear fruit as investments are made and new plants are being built. Trump was in the process of securing many more commitments, and DEMOCRATS filed lawsuits to stop him.

Your second link is from the reliably Liberal Left anti-Trump biased PBS. It tells a sad story about one small Sousaphone manufacturing company near Cleveland, Ohio. Some of the employees being interviewed have doubts about the speed and size of foreign investments being made here, but doesn't acknowledge that before Trump, far less was being done to stop the bleeding of American jobs. The most important fact we can glean from this DEMOCRAT biased PBS story is that this plant had already been moving jobs to China in recent years... before Trump was re-elected. And one of the guys, Scott Paul, is optimistic that over time, we will see manufacturing job growth come out of both the massive amount of construction that's going on right now, and the trade deficit coming down a little bit. Trump has been trying, which is more than we can say for any other President since total fools negotiated away our manufacturing base.

Your third link was the best, and shows us that you are too stupid to even understand what you Posted. First off, it says the manufacturing job loss is 83,000, which is significantly less than the 108,000 reported by Senate DEMOCRATS. It makes one wonder who or what to believe from these anti-Trump Liberal sources. Then it goes on to say that Economists blame those job losses on "a range of factors for the job losses, including automation, long-standing headwinds from lower wages overseas to increased costs and economic uncertainty partially caused by the Trump administration's tariffs.

So it isn't just the Tariffs you keep crying about Princess Stevie. It is also due to Automation and the same decades old problem of U.S. workers competing with lower overseas wages and costs. We all know about low foreign labor costs being a job killer. Automation has made us more productive, but also reduced employment. Now we are losing jobs due to A.I., which you will no doubt blame Trump for. But we also lost many jobs due to DEMOCRATS imposing costly regulations and high taxes on U.S. companies... another thing that Trump has addressed.

Then it goes on to say that The U.S. has lost 4.5 million manufacturing jobs since 2000. By comparison, overall global manufacturing employment over that period has increased by about 71 million workers, with most of that growth in China, India and Vietnam, according to a 2025 research brief from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

Isn't it odd Princess Stevie that you are in a total tizzy about an alleged job loss of somewhere between 83,000 and 108,000... if we can believe lying DEMOCRATS... but you never once said a word about 4.5 MILLION jobs lost due to bad foreign trade deals? And that is just since 2000. The offshoring and job losses started well before that. Black Friday for the U.S. Steel Industry was in 1978.

Under Obama the U.S. economy lost an average of 712,000 jobs PER MONTH between Nov. 2008 and March 2009... but not a word from you. With Trump, it's nothing but crying from you about how bad MAGA is.

You'll never get over your Trump Derangement Syndrome Princess Stevie. And you needed an excuse to continue voting for anti-gun DEMOCRATS anyway. I'm happy to give Trump some time to make things happen, after decades of exporting jobs and incurring massive Trade Deficits. It would be even better if DEMOCRATS were not doing everything they can to damage Trump and maintain the status quo of turning the U.S. into a Welfare State and Fraud-ridden Socialist shit-hole.

This is what I voted for... and since it is making you cry so much and finally come out of your DEMOCRAT closet, I am even more happy.
