Actually it’s Trigga Time!
NTM .410 Ringneck needs to be um, uhh, adjusted.
Rifle tight constrictions resolved, some pleasant trigger pulls are on order.

Left barrel with a factory pull in the 5’s
Right barrel is off the charts but soon to be my “b!tch”.

What do you consider rifle tight, and what did you open them to?

Good morning Stan.
Bore is .404
Left barrel is .007 constriction. Factory Mod as marked.
Right barrel is/was .013.

Not even Briley had the tool to cut a .404 bore.
R&D Custom threaded the right barrel for a Truelock choke.
Constriction in the right barrel now measures .007

Trigger pull slightly less than 4lb in the right, just a scosh more in the left.

.007" and .013" ? Pshaw, Bob, them ain't that tight! wink

I've got another .410 S X S with screw in chokes. They're marked C, IC, M, IM and F. The three tightest constrictions, as measured by me, are .012", .023" and .034". I've never even tried to pattern the two tightest ones. Got no idea what kind of pattern they would cast, but I've got my doubts about their usefulness. Hallowell designates .018" - .021" as Full in a .410. I guess .034" would be XX Full. crazy

My Dickinson is fixed at .008" and .008".

My Yildiz is fixed at .011" and .015".

I've killed piles of doves with the Dickinson and Yildiz.

May God bless America and those who defend her.
