A lot of tasteless mass production came from Ferlach. And you will have seen more than once a sneer from discerning German collectors (though the term might be regarded as an oxymoron - I plead guilty on behalf of most of my nowadays shotgun-analphabetic nation).

However, Glanznig probably is the Sensei of senseis...

I looked in to the Glanznig shop when I was in Ferlach. Herr Glanznig was out, only his wife was attending business. She was rather curt in her replies to my questions. They had not one gun in the shop that I could inspect by hand! She said they only took specific orders and therefore did not keep anything on hand of a non bespoke nature! It was a small place, I recall. Wish I could have seen some of his work. She had an order book by which one could choose all the options for construction and finish. They take copious notes of the customers wishes and requests.
Enjoyed the video!
