https://cornellpubs.com/product/645/The Special Grade was a plain quality hammer gun; the Excel Quality, Victoria & The Pigeon Gun Club were medium grade hammer guns. The highest was the Premier.
Note there was also an earlier Bogardus Gun Club hammer gun.

This 12g Pigeon Gun Club SN 70847 dates 1896 - 1904 and interestingly specified Waldsrode 32 grains with 1 1/8 oz. shot; a light Pigeon load.
Wolffe & Co. in Walsrode, Prussia had a London agent, George Beutner, in 1892 who established The Walsrode Smokeless & Waterproof Gun Powder Co. in 1894.
Walsrode Gray was a 33 grain = 3 Dram powder.
In 1895, agents in the U.S. included Von Lengerke & Detmold, N.Y., Von Lengerke & Antoine, Chicago, M.F. Kennedy & Bros., St. Paul, and Clabrough, Golcher & Co.
