When it arrived I noticed the blue barrels show a damascus pattern where the bluing is worn. Is there an easy way to remove the blueing on the barrels to show the damascus for what it is?

Plain ol' white vinegar will remove the blue, and slightly enhance the contrast, but refinishing is the only way to restore the pattern. https://sites.google.com/a/damascusknowledge.com/www/home
