Is there anyone out there who owns a Charlin O/U? I'm seeking any general information concerning models, grades etc.

I don’t own one. I will have a look at my catalogs, but, the Super Charlin, or, sliding breech version O/U, was not exactly a big hit, and did not appear in every catalog.

I handled a few, in France, and was underwhelmed with the design. Clever, but, not as user friendly as a conventional O/U. They seemed to have a ton of drop at heel, and did not feel like magic wands to me. You could feel differently. Who knows?

I’ll see what I can dig up.

Thanks for the followup info. I agree with your sentiments. Mine is absolutely beautiful and I admire it for that and its design.
Do you know if there were several models or is the Super Charlin the only O/U model they made?
