My gun club was given a large quantity of mostly vintage fiber wads by Alcan, Winchester and Herters. Mostly Alcan and there are some modern wads from Precision Reloading and Ballistic Products. Most of the wads are cushion fiber wads but some undershot and overshot card wads. There is a box or two of a hybrid 12 ga. wad that are fiber with a plastic shot cup attached. My guess is that these wads are from the late 60s to the early 80s. They are from the estate of an accomplished muzzleloader guy who lived in the Oxford MD area.
There are about 10 boxes of 500 10 ga
11 boxes of 500 11 ga for 10 ga brass
1 boxes of 500 14 ga
2 boxes of 500 13 ga
43 boxes of 500 12 ga
7 boxes of 500 16 ga
23 boxes of 500 20 ga
11 boxes of 500 28 ga
3 boxes of 410
Plus some other stuff. Over 50,000 wads.
We've tried to give these away to other clubs but no takers so they are free to whoever comes and picks them up. I'm not shipping them and you have take them all. If no one wants them they are going to the dump. PM me if interested.
