I want to display a old hammer shotgun. I found a nicer version of my favorite duck gun and plan to hang it in the man corner of the house and would like to keep it functional. Does anyone make an Expandable chamber plug like boat plug but fits completely in the chamber?

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I was in the play "Oklahoma" when I was in high school. We used my shotgun in the play and to ensure that nothing could happen I made 2 wooden plugs to fit the chambers. I used wood dowel rod and made them so I could beat them in with a hammer. The plugs were made so that they would squeeze down in the forcing cone and were about 1/2" below the rim cuts. They were tightly in place and after it's prop duty was finished, I knocked them out with a cleaning rod. It was a different time!

It was, I was in "Carousel" and had my dad 32 revolver for a prop nothing done to make it inoperable.

My sister took one of my shotguns to school to do a how-to speech on cleaning a shotgun. They did ask her to leave it in the office until her class period.

Thanks that will work.
