Left barrel sometimes only leaves a light dimple mark on the primer. The spring isn't broke or cracked. What can do done to it? Have the spring tempered? I'll admit to my ignorance on this matter.

I'd suggest starting with a good cleaning and inspection before retempering springs.
An accumulation of old dried lube and grunge can cause the issue you have, and so could something like a firing pin that is mushroomed on the rear end. Also take note whether the problem is specific to only a certain brand of ammo. And check for equal firing pin protrusion by removing the barrels and dry firing while holding a small block of soft pine against the breech face.

First I'd make sure there isn't any build up of crud in front of the firing pin and that the firing pin moves freely second make sure the the hammer swings freely.. Years ago I used to get a number of shotguns in n that people had sprayed the action with WD-40 and it would gum up so badly it slowed everything. Same with my sewing machine, I left it at my mom's and someone used WD on it to this day if I leave it for a few months I have to re-oil it, it's getting better.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I read somewhere that coilsprings weaken but take forever to break, spinning reel bailsprings excluded, leaf springs don't weaken but break more quickly. If that's right, Oskar probably has you pointed in the right direction.

Stick a shim in a spot where it will create some resistance to the bend or compression. If it works super glue it in. I got this idea from a guy named Jerry.
