is Clair Kofoed still around, listed as an editor at large for Shooting Sportsman. Up to about 2012 he posted on this board as C. Kofoed. Does anyone know of a way to contact him?

Clair recently responded to one of my Facebook post.

Add him to the list of quality posters who no longer frequent this forum.....

"Shooting Sportsman" supplied an email. No response. Gun writers are nothing if not independent.

He might be off hunting somewhere. I'm leaving before long myself to chase prairie grouse.

Dirk was a good dog hunting alone, but not with other dogs. The first time we hunted with Bill Henry he thought Chick was the hottest thing he'd ever seen and spent the whole time chasing her around

Chuck wondering what the heck this dog is doing. I claimed it was a highly trained 'T-bone' back Sky was obviously unimpressed.

Since we don't know exactly why Mr. Kofoed has been absent from this Forum, we are all free to guess.

Maybe he got fed up with being a site supporter... while a select few are apparently taking advantage of Dave by running continual Free Advertising of their profit-making business ventures in their Taglines. I have asked repeatedly, but SKB Stevie and the other Free Advertisers refuse to publicly say if they are paying Dave the customary $12.00 fee for each and every successful sale resulting from those Free Ads. There is a proper place for advertising in the For Sale Forum, and those who have integrity pay Dave $12.00 on the Honor System when they sell items here.

It appears that the Free Tagline Advertisers may have something to hide...

Or perhaps Mr Kofoed got fed up with so-called gun guys like SKB Stevie and his Democrat pals showing their obvious support for anti-gun Democrats, and also disrupting pro-2nd Amendment Threads, and any Political Thread that may cast anti-gun Democrats in an unflattering light. Perhaps Mr. Kofoed is an NRA and Trump supporter, and he got sick of all of the Trump and NRA bashing from these Liberal Left Trolls.

Or maybe Mr Kofoed would happily return if SKB Stevie edited his Free Advertising Tagline by adding the line "I Miss Monkey C. Kofoed"... Yeah, I'll bet that would help to bring him and some others back to active status!

And maybe it would help if SKB Stevie Spammed Mr. Kofoed with a bunch of nasty and vulgar PM's. Since yesterday, SKB Stevie has Spammed my PM Box with 5 more Spam PM's. Of course, I haven't opened or read them, but here are the titles:

1) "You are a douchebag......"
2) "Call me princess, or answer a pm"
3) " You are STILL a spineless coward Princess."
4) "Call me to discuss your grievances Princess"
5) "A note to my favorite couple"

The last Spam PM was sent to both me and Homeless jOe, because SKB Stevie is still trying to tar me and jOe with his/her own perverted sexual preferences. 5 nasty PM's in one day. Now THAT is a real Melt-Down!

I am willing to discuss anything with anyone here, right out in the open Forum, where anyone can see it. But I will not have any discussions with any Liberal Left liars and hypocrites, who act like concerned, innocent, and perfect gentlemen in the Open Forum, and then act like vulgar fools in private messages. Easy to see just who the coward is here. Why would I wish to protect him/her?
