I came across a Flues 20 ga. today that a fellow wants to sell. It has 28" barrels and someone added an extension and pad on the gun, without cutting. It locks up tight and has had good care of it. Made in 1911. No cracks in the stocks, checkering is good needs to be cleaned out. Most likely cosmetically it is an 80% gun. What is a reasonable price for the gun?

If it is a Grade 7E upwards of ten grand. If it is a Field Grade three hundred. Early Flues small bores were usually very light weight with thin barrels and thin frame sides which are prone to crack after years of North American nimrods shoving any shell that was on their dealers shelves into them. Also quite likely originally chambered for 2 1/2 inch shells.

Lastly it is spelled IthAca!!

I should have posted it was a field grade. I have no interest in the gun other than trying to give the owner a value. Thanks Dave.

Bob Hunter Guns in Selma, AL has the "rolled on dog" version in 20 gauge currectly asking 850. Too much glare in photos to estimate the collector "ephemera" but wood and checkering strong.
