I have come across some of these and purchased a couple of titles I wanted to have. They apparantly came out mid-90's, had bonded leather covers and the couple I have are vey nicely done.
Were these published originally as a complete set, did you sign up and get them one by one as each came out, or could you buy individual volumes at the time? What was the cost when new? How many were in the complete set? Are certain titles harder to find than others? And if you were buying a title would you get one of these editions for yourself or a reasonable used example of the published trade edition of the title?
They must not have done very well as there seems to be a lot available on ebay, many never used/opened and some even in the original shrinkwrap.
Jsut interested in learning more about this edition as there seems to be many titles I could buy.
