Basic question that I should know the answer to but want to be sure based on today's climate.

Doe's expended brass casings need to be shipped the same as live ammunition? I ask because expended cartridge cases fall within the federal definition of ammunition. Or, does UPS or USPS consider them non-hazardous?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Not a hazard unless they are primed. Ship away via whatever method you choose. I shipped brass two weeks ago via USPS.

Brass is not regulated for transport.

Export is another story.
