For those of you who have dealt with Hill Rod & Gun, are they negotiable on price? I've heard good things about the guns they sell and the service. Thanks.

If it is a consignment gun it is usually much harder to do a deal.

Usually, I buy at auction, usually internet. If I think a price is too high I move on. With a straight sale though whether face to face or on-line I do not hesitate to bargain. If that turns off a seller, I wish him good luck with the next guy...Geo

I bought a gun from Charlie last year. Turns out I missed out on it at auction in England in 2018. That failure haunted me until the identical gun appeared at Charlies about a year later. I couldnt sleep until it was residing in my safe, but I paid dearly for the earlier error. A very honest and fair dealer.

Good to know I am not alone. Last time, I stalked a gun for about 4 yrs. Meanwhile, I'm waiting on two other such guns to appear on the market again someday. Hi, I've dealt with Charlie on several guns. He's top notch in my book. He'll send you as many pics as you want, answer any questions and his return policy is great.
He will deal. If you low ball him, he won't get out of sorts, but will make a counter offer.
