I am looking at a Gamba o/u with double triggers and 25 in barrels. I have no idea on the value of this gun and cant even find a picture of it anywhere so dont know what model it is. It looks like a SKB model 500 though.
If someone could help me post pictures Id appreciate it.
I do know that there are several families using the Gamba name. The price is 750 cdn and it does have a cracked forearm that has been glue repaired in the past. Blueing looks great.
Are these quality guns? Worth 750?

If made by SKB, quality may be OK.
With damage and veerry short barrels, even in Canada, not likely.
But that is me.
And somewhat based on other prices and comments seen.
Pictures look great, but 25inch.....

the gun is made in Italy. I mention SKB before I figured how to post pictures. I was just trying to describe the look of the receiver, which to me looks like an SKB or Merkel. I am looking for a 26 in barrel anyway, Im considering the 25. I cant find a lick of information on this gun. I have seen Gamba prices all over the map.

There are no parts available.
People show up on gun boards all the time looking for Gamba parts. Never any luck.
Factor that into your decision.

Dont mind the 26 barrel naysayers, 8 yrs ago they shit on 30 plus barrels so take it with a grain of salt! Clapper is right parts would be the limiting factor as well as lead shot!

BUY it, for $650 Cdn and we are getting older by the minute.
Forend cracked and screw boogered.
I would suggest a shooting evaluation at the local skeet club before purchase.
Remember Gamba also made the Rottweil 72 guns.

I see no evidence that it's an Italian made gun.
The incomplete set of pictures show only a Kersten style bolted O/U that somebody who shouldn't have has been into.
There is a possibility that it's not even worth $750 Canadian.
You know more about it than we do at the present time.
