Let's hope so. If not, there will be a lot of people suffering the effects of "shotgun withdrawal" by the middle of the summer!

By July, surely this mess must pass. More like the end of April at worst

Brent, Correct. I was looking forward to the spring and early summer shoots, but would hate to see a relapse in all of this as well. I'm at least looking forward to the Tunnel of Tree's shoot this fall. Karl

It sounds like they need to get real busy finding an antidote and then cut the regulations that require a year of "clinical trials" before releasing it to the public. That is the only solution I see

Mills, there really aren't "antidotes" or even cures to viruses. There are preventative vaccines, and that would be great. I don't think anyone that can is wasting time while working on a good one, but that won't make it happen overnight, and we need something yesterday.

I don't think vacines are the only solution to viral infections. They're all different, but there are many treatments for various viral infections after the infection has occurred. The reason for quarantines are to minimize the spread, the reason for the recommended duration of the quarantine is so that infected people can no longer transmit the virus. Some mechanism or another has 'cured' all the infected people that have not died from it. It's most likely their immune system which can be supplemented, if desired, by various medications that facts say are being fast tracked at this momment.

The professor will never admit it, but he is wrong again. It is true that in the recent past, no virus disease was ever cured. The infection had to run it's course, even if that meant that some infected hosts died.
Recently, there have been some new treatments developed for certain viruses such as Hepatitis C. These treatments result in an SVR, or sustained virological response, where no virus can be detected for at least 12 weeks. It has been shown that the incidence of the active infection returning is under 1%. No virus detected means a complete and total cure.
Our best hope for Covid19 in the short term is quick development, testing, and approval of an effective vaccine, and antiviral treatments to mitigate symptoms in those with severe infections. Otherwise, we are going to see some estate sales of doubles owned by guys who didn't survive this pandemic. And quite a few countries with Socialized Medical systems are doing far worse than we are.
