2 boxes per gun in Manitoba probably from the distant past. We used to stash shells in the cabin because of it. Like I say, they never ask about ammo any longer, so the 400 is probably correct. Or do the Provinces set those limits?

The Customs agency which is federal enforces the 200 limit I am aware of. I would guess it applies to all Provinces but I would need to check to make sure.

Depending on Tamid's pricing, of course, this could be a really cool deal. Waterfowl hunting on the Canadian prairie is a very special experience.
I've been going up to Sask. since 1993 and "freelancing". Most years it has been great. As the years have rolled on, the work of handling the blind and decoys as well a doing our own scouting has gotten kind of tough for an older guy. The idea of a guided hunt looks pretty good...Geo

This may not be the appropriate forum to post pricing but many have asked. Dave move it if inappropriate Dave will get a handsome donation if this hunt comes to fruition
I offer an all inclusive hunt where the client only has to pay for travel to Alberta, personal incidentals, alcoholic beverages and a 10% gratuity. The package includes shotguns, shells, licenses, accommodations, meals, bird cleaning, travel while in Alberta, etc. The cost is US$3150 for a 3-day/5-hunt. Right now I have a Boxing Week special that includes 1 free hunt for a group booking of 6. I am also offering a 10% discount if a group books before February 15.
For the SxS hunt I would have to recalculate for the expense of the shells and discount if some bring their own as well for the shotguns. There would also be an overall discount but I need to sit down and work it out.
Im only at the stage of trying to discern if there is enough interest. If you can put your own group together I can offer the above discounts at any time.

I could be interested. I go to SK in September for geese every year(freelance).
A SXS hunt with like interest guys would be fun.
I have a SD pheasant hunt I offer for 16ga shooters each year at my house. Might have to open it up to SXS shooters no matter what gauge. It's usually hard to fill even 5 spots and it's not expensive.
