Good morning gentlemen. Has anyone ever seen a Dickinson Estate with 24" barrels? They show them as a factory barrel length but........
TIA Bill

Ive never seen one.
The dealer I bought mine from, said that the importer who I think is in Utah or California, consolidates orders from their retailers, and then brings in as close to a full container as possible at one time.
So, if you want one, you just need to get it in the box.
He seemed very accommodating about unusual orders.
Out there doing it best I can.

I had a friend who had a factory Ithaca Flues with 24 barrels. It was ultra light. Never weighed it but well under six pounds. It was unpleasant to shoot. Part due to a short stock but also just too light. His great uncle bought it when he was going to China on missionary work shortly before WWI. 90 years later it was in excellent condition.

Dickinson will build a gun any way you want it. They have a build sheet on their website. Importer is in L A. They say 6 months build time, I got mine in 3. Very happy with the process.

When I ordered mine, through Cabela's, I expected them to have to build it to my requested dims, but they had to have had one in CA that already met the specs. I wanted a .410 with 30" tubes, ejectors, fixed chokes and a 15" LOP. Had it in two months.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

Twenty-four inch Ithacas are relatively common. Ive had several both in 20 gauge and 28 as well. One of the 20s was made or ordered for a lady. On the trigger guard bow engraved in beautiful script is Mrs. E.W.B. - never found out who she was.

My friends Ithaca is a 12 gauge. Family history said his great uncle special ordered it from the factory, to be very light. It was light as a feather and choked full and full. Short stock, which I suspect had been hollowed out. He took it with him when he lived in China as a missionary. Unpleasant to shoot a round of skeet with. But it has remained in the family for over a hundred years. I admire that type of family loyalty.
