It's not on a Daly. Although I wish it was because they are my barrels. LOL

It's a very nicely done 3 Iron "Oxford", and would also be called "British Best".

In the middle you can see a smaller scroll with a straight weld line down the middle - then 2 larger scrolls with wavy "zipper" welds down the middle of each - then another smaller scroll = 3 Iron
I very much like the alternating "stars" between the scrolls; black being the low carbon steel and white being iron.

Who did the refinish?

The barrels are from my Remington 1894 BE circa 1907.

I am having it restocked and the barrels just had to be redone.

Thank you all who gave it a shot. Appreciate the shared knowledge.

Parker D3 refinished by Channing Will and the straight ribband edge weld lines down the middle of the smaller scrolls and "zipper" welds down the middle of the 2 larger scrolls inbetween are clear

Remington called the pattern Oxford 4 S.J., and that is a very nice example.
The significance of 'S.J.' (Boston 2 and Oxford 2 & 4) is uncertain, but could be Simonis-Janssen. The Albert Simonis, J. Janssen & Demoulin Fils consortium was established in 1883, and used the mark 'S.J.& D'.
Are there any initials forward of the flats?

Drew, the barrels are not with me. Still with the refinisher. Would be happy to look and post when they are back.
