I have a 1929 Montgomery Ward Western Field Deluxe with Automatic Ejectors that needs the left side Kicker Retainer. This is the item that either allows or doesn't allow the left side barrel to eject the shell depending on whether the left trigger was pulled or not. Numrich is out of stock(they have the right side), Gunbroker nothing, and EBay nothing. The Kicker Retainer currently there is missing ~3/32" off the cocking arm portion of it.I do not know if there is a way to build the broken portion up and file it back to fit or not. But considering there is quite a bit of torque on it I would probably be better getting a replacement.

I wish I was able to add a picture but until then any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott

Try Turnbull,,we had a large supply of Ithaca SxS parts when I worked there, but that was many yrs ago. Who knows what the story is now.
Most were NID, but there were others too.
All came right from Ithaca Gun Co when the Plant at Ithaca NY closed up.

They may just say no because they don't want to sell any parts separately. That's common in the Gun FixIt and Restoration trade.

You can add matrl to the old part by welding or even brazing or silver soldering (hard solder).
Use a lap joint if brazing or hard soldering for extra strength. Then file to shape & fit. You have the rt side part to show you the shape.
It's not to hard to make one from scratch if you want to.
