I�ve just launched a new podcast called 'A Break in the Action' that focuses on both modern and vintage field and sporting shotguns along with the outdoor pursuits, sporting literature and gear & accessories that compliment them. Whether you are a bird hunter, clay target shooter or collector, A Break in the Action has something for you.

My most recent episode is a chat with Greg Carpiniello on the history of Orvis branded shotguns. I am just a hobbyist and would love to� hear some feedback and definately spread the word.

I spent my lunch listening to Barry Rich and the Double Guns of Nashville segment. For visual I perused their web page.
Really well done with a good interview!
Here's a couple ideas for future interviews from the vintage shotgun collector/shooter point of view:
1) a similar episode with gunsmith Dewey Vicknair. From his own website it seems he's a tell'em like I see'em kind of guy and could be a dynamite interview with the right questions
2) visit and talk with restorers/re-sellers like Steve Barnett, or Kirby Hoyt, about today's vintage market and trends.

Those would be gold to me. Thanks for your efforts!

Thanks for the input! I'm not familiar with Vicknair but I will look him up. I've got ideas for about 15 or so more episodes. I'm definately looking for new ideas so keep them coming if you think of some more.

Really good. I have corresponded with Greg Carpiniello at Orvis regarding a couple guns he had in Manchester on consignment. Couldn't reach an acceptable price with the seller but I could not have asked for better service from Greg. A real pleasure to deal with.

Vicknair is a great idea. Could be a great interview.
