Guys:
I personally own a real Churchill try gun. At the time it was built there were 12 in exsistance, two are here in Houston, one of course I own.

Could anybody direct me to where I might inquire about Churchill records. I would love to find the history of this gun.

Thanks a bunch!

John,I have the book "The House of Churchill" which is my go to reference. I've noticed a Churchill try gun for sale on Guns International recently.

Don Masters was the last contact for the company as far as I know.

John, Churchill is still an active company. You may want to see what they can tell you about the gun. Churchill Ken

John, just curious, is your Try Gun stamped Abercrombie and Fitch? if so it may have come from the Churchill / A & F liquidation sale in Houston in the early 1980's.
Chris Cloke was the Gun Room Manager for E.J. Churchill as of a year ago or so and he handled all inquiries. Here is his info:

Yes, do try to contact Chris Cloke at E.J. Churchill. He has been a great help to me with build records on my old Churchills.

Yes, this gun came from A & F in Houston. It was not a part of the sale.
