Are you referring to the early A&D design, either a single under bite or just the C-bolt lock up? I have a bit of experience with both designs if that is what you are calling a snap action. I tend to think of snap action guns as a push forward under lever design but have also seen Jones under lever guns called snap action.

That is the Westley patent C-bolt action. A Top drawer boxlock action, especially so in drop lock configuration.

yup 25" barrels are darn slow to move in this market. No mention of who re-barreled it either. If it was done by someone other than the maker that will kill the value as well. Great price for a field gun if you can live with the short barrels,

A very pretty gun, price is high for condition though. No bargain, especially after the import costs.
