I have a 20 ga Ithaca Flues that I am planning to take on a grouse/woodcock to MI in Sept. Since I need to use non-toxic for the woodcock, does anyone have a good bismuth load (around 2 1/2 dram 7/8 oz maybe) gentle enough for my old girl? Or a better suggestion? Thanks guys........

I take it you are hunting woodcock on a state waterfowling area?
I use the Eco-tox Bismuth shells, but I don't know the pressures.
They bio-degrade right in the chambers if they get wet.
I used some on a rail hunt in VA, and the salt disintegrated them in my pocket. Definately enviro-friendly.

Out there doing it best I can.

The way I am reading the MI state regulations, ANY woodcock taken must be done with non toxic shot. My home state of MO appears to be the same way. MO also has 22 state game areas that require non tox for dove hunting now too. Main priority is low pressure, don't want to damage my gun. Thanks for reply....

The first two have much more available data to chose from.....lower pressures and velocities as well.

Best,
Mark
