This is quite an interesting sight and would not be difficult to replicate it. The photos can easily be used to reverse engineer the sight dimensions by using the known diameter of the cocking piece as a reference. Another thought is to improve the design by adding a windage adjustment.
Cocking piece sights have limits to their accuracy but are very "vintage" and add a bunch of "Cool Factor" to a rifle build.
