I have a "new" 96 year old shotgun on the way, a 1921 Ithaca Flues 12 ga. Advertised as 2 3/4" chambers, which I will verify myself. I am aware of the need for low pressure ammo in this old girl, and I would be happy to order a case from one of the vintage shotgun vendors. However, I have a full case of Baschieri & Pallagri Competition One low brass marked as 1 oz 1,160 fps. I looked this load up on their website, and they show a measured pressure curve. Actual velocity 1,082 and MAP 420 bar (6,174 psi). Falls within the old pressure standard. Anyone have experience with this in a pre-1926 shotgun?
