I thought that I would post some pics of my new Fox. The gun is stunning. It was engraved by Paul Lantuch. He ususally only works on their sidelock guns but I got lucky. I saw his work when I was in their shop and was amazed at his work and begged Lou to hook me up. I also supplied the picture of the grouse that I wanted engraved. It is a two barrel set, 20 and 16 with long barrels. The only thing that I want to change is that the gun is slightly butt heavy due to my long LOP and a thick skeleton butt plate. I want them to hollow out the stock some more. The other is the gold triggers which I did not want, but was told that is an easy fix anytime that I want too. I will try it out a the Hidden Hollow classic tomorrow.

Awesome gun, Kevin. I would love to see a pic of the entire gun. Question: how do they go about hollowing the stock, it looks like there is no thru-bolt?

They usually bore out the butt and can also hollow out the shell as well with a special tool, which is then plugged. I can see one small plug already if you catch the light right at the top.
I am sure that someone else can explain much better then me.

Sounds like you should be able to get the balance you want without too much trouble. A new Fox 16 with that level of finish, it doesn't get much better than that. Right now I'm planning an XE with 30 inch barrels, schnabel forend, POW grip. Planning for fiscal 2026, that is.

What was the delivery time on that stunning shotgun, Kevin. After seeing that I may have to take the leap.
