I'm using a load for my vintage doubles @
5900 psi. It's a 2 3/4" sts hull that I'm wanting to cut
down to 2 1/2". I'm using an 8 point crimp with the 2 3/4". Can i use
the same data and can I roll crimp the load. I'm thinking with roll crimp
I might get too low on pressure or should I just use a 6 or 8 point crimp with
the 2 1/2" hull.

God bless the fine men and women in the U.S. military

I wouldn't worry too much about going from a pie crimp to a roll crimp, burch, where you are, in Florida. The really low pressure loads are usually a problem in the colder climes. I am in GA and shoot bismuth loads at 5000-6000 psi with no problems, in cold weather (what we call cold, down to maybe 20 degrees). Roll crimps usually lower the pressure somewhat, but typically no more than 100 psi, and sometimes as little as 20-30 psi.

yes you can use the same data and roll crimp, given the load fits
