I will be visiting Italy for a few weeks, vacationing with my significant other. We are hitting all the usual cities, Rome, Venice, Florence, and the Tuscany area. I am just wondering if there are any gun shops of note that I should sneak away to see. That might be a good diversion after all the culture I am required to absorb.

You missed one of the great ones in Rome. Closed many years ago. Cassano (spelling maybe off). Fantastic place. I purchased various guns from him. In Florence there was a small shop I found by accident, have no idea what is /was called. I did find some new primed hulls for 24 gauge there.

We are flying into Milan but not staying there. I know we will be near the Brescia region for a few days so I may be able to sneak over to a few of the manufacturers. I also plan on doing a local search for shops In those cities we are staying in for a few days. Wine, olives, bread, pizza and guns. Perfect!

The bigger makers are somewhat set up for visitors
The smaller makers are not
I have set up appointments with them, they appreciate that
The smaller makers, many do not speak english
When I need to go to the smaller ones I hire an interpreter
