"Old Colonel," I commend to you Abe Chaber, of Danbury, Connecticut, who made a set of ejector springs for one side of my circa 1891 Westley Richards exhibition quality 16-bore with a Deeley box ejector system that had been tampered with and thereby weakened at some time by an amateur, as well as a lock spring for my circa 1893 W. W. Greener G 60 Royal that replaced an earlier working but somewhat crude replacement of the original. The springs by Mr. Chaber are superior in every way; that is, in terms of fashioning, polishing and tempering. Both guns continue to function as originally designed and intended, and I have shot these guns several hundreds of times since without the least problem.
Regards,
Edwardian
