"To err is human. To blame someone else, more human." In this case, it is to buy another gun. Gil

Upon returning from South East Asia and reporting to my next duty station, I was greeted by a sign at the base entrance that read: To Error Is Human, To Forgive Is Devine, Neither Of Which Is The Policy Of The 75th Tatical Fighter Wing.

Thanks Mike. One of the hardest part of it all was when I was spit upon by a couple of collage aged guys as I was going through the airport in Sanfrancisco to catch a flight home. Speaking of Browning BSS-Sidelocks, I was fortunate to acquire a 12ga. as well as a 20ga. years ago. They have become my favorite and prized SxS's. I value them more than my 12ga.,20ga.,and 28ga. Merkels. I seem to shoot the BSS-Sidelocks the best, must be the love. I like going to the SxS events here in Michigan with them. If I ever figure out to post pictures of them, I certainly will. The 20ga. has stunning wood. Karl

Bob, I see it's now for sale because it doesn't fit. My condolences.
Hope you have more success in the future finding one that does. I liked this thread because, while not exactly the same as your situation, it was passing on a particular gun and then realizing how much I regretted not buying it, that brought me to the favorite gun in my collection.

I really like a flat shooting gun. After 4 rounds of Skeet and realized I had to float birds about 1 foot in order to crush them. I'd rather not have to think about leads or elevation when I'm in the field, I WANT PERFECT FIT. For me, I want the process of mounting and swinging to be thoughtless and seamless. Check it out! http://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=450553#Post450553
