I have a M 21 field grade 20 ga. It was made in 1948 with 28 inch mod and full. In the mid 1990's I added an unfinished Winchester 26 inch WS1 and WS2 which was completed. I am thinking of it as a gift. What is it's worth?

It sounds like you have a very nice sets but it's difficult to tell you more without some pictures. Please post some and we can go from there.

Pictures would help a lot. Can you tell us who you had fit up the extra set of barrels?

Are they original Winchester barrels? Has stock been altered? Stock and forearm configuration?

I'll weigh in without the benefit of pictures. Let's assume it's a nice one.
Barrels alone can command upwards of $2,000, maybe more.
A nice field choked long barreled 20 gauge may bring as much as $8,000.
Perhaps as much as $10K total?

I have an early (1933) Double Trigger 20 gauge with 28" F/M barrels.
I added a second set of 28" barrels, WS2/IC. Ended up restocking it as well.
Another question could speculate on utilitarian value.

Bob:

That gun, configured exactly as you've described it but in 16 gauge, is my ideal of a Model 21. Not that I'm ever going to find one, but it's fun to look.
