Why is the Beretta ASE 90 Gold so undervalued in Blue Book? The latest value for a 100% condition ASE 90 Gold Sporting is $3800 (last retail pricing quoted $12,500). Unbelievable? Are the Blue Book values even credible?

I sold an ASE 90 Gold XTrap a five years ago for $5900. It had 30" barrels and the G Squared stock and the factory case. That model did not have the highest grade barrels as I remember. I think most ASE 90 Golds had Bohler Antiknit barrels and the XTrap did not. It did not have the spare trigger group either.

Here in LA they are not popular. Don't know why but Perazzi, K-80, and Kolar are the common higher priced models. I have seen one on the skeet field in the past 25 years. It's owner traded it after one year for a K-80.
