"The Featherlight" on auction arms I believe is a stevens or ithaca, what model winchester would that be? Looks to have cocking indicators.

Drew,

A bit over half way down you have --

"3. Catalog No. 18 c. 1921 again listed the "No. 6 Knickerbocker" with the earlier 'V-shaped main springs'."

But that picture, allegedly from Catalog No. 18, certainly not from my H & D Folsom Arms Co. Catalogue No. 18, shows a Baker lock --

and calls it the "CRESCENT NEW THREE-PIECE LOCK."

In my Catalogue No. 18 the guns from the plant in Norwich are called American Gun Co. and the parts page shows the coil spring hammerless lock --

Dave

Appreciate the correction Dave.
The "Crescent New Three-Piece Lock" came from a c. 1925 Crescent listing in a dealer catalog, with this

The marketing dept. at Folsom may have been "creative" in using a Baker lock image!
To avoid confusion, I deleted the image from the PictureTrail.

The more that I follow this forum, the more amazed I am at the amount of information Mr. Hause has put together. Very good reading.
