I have very high arches and wear size 8 1/2 F boots so it is difficult to find chest waders that fit my feet. Back before most of them were made off shore I did not have this problem. The pair I have now are size 10 and it is a struggle to put them on and pull them off. Have any of you bought custom fit waders and what has your experience with them been.

Try these guys. They will put whatever size boot you or they can get on whatever size waders fit you. I bought a pair of their waders a couple of years ago but have not used them yet, waiting for my old pair to completely fail. Stuff seems to be well made, nearly bullet proof, and they can replace the boots down the line if you wish. https://usia.com/

The fatter I get the more "custom" fitted my waders become...

MJS, WHy don't you wear stockingfoot waders, and lace on shoes? My friend crushed a foot, and that is what he does. He can't get a slip on boot to fit.
LaCrosse makes waders that are "extra stout", so large body, with no extra leg length, and they have gusseted straps that allow for adjustment in the body area. The legs are very roomy as well, but don't have gussets.
Herter's used to make a lace up boot wader, but when Cabela's bought them, they were discontinued.
Out there doing it best I can.

How will they be used? Cold weather duck hunting, or summer trout fishing? Neoprene or gore-tex?

I want to thank everyone for their responses. I have not been on the forum in a while. The waders would be used for duck hunting. About the coldest weather I hunt in would be in the 30's. I am thinking about trying some stocking foot waders next but thought I might try ordering some custom waders. I do not use chest waders very often as most of my duck hunting is on levees I access using a boat and hip boots or knee high boots work fine there. The waders I use now are neoprene.

IMHO, the only reason for stocking foot waders is for the support which the laced-up boots provide. Good for either walking long distances or plowing thought mucky goo on a stream's edge. I'm not familiar with the usia stuff, but it looks interesting

Replacement, I'd never heard of that outfit before. The way I go through waders, I'll probably wind up owning some....
