Gentlemen:
Please help me to find what I have in hands: It is a Winchester model 101 and is marked SUPERGRADE at the bottom of the action. The finish and engraving is like a Pigeon grade, but it has a straight english grip with double triggers. The most interesting thing is that those triggers fires both barrels in inverse secuence, just like some Browning superposed models. I can not find any description of those characteristics in the Blue book or Gun values reference books. Could it be factory finished that way? How rare it is? Does it has a different value than a normal pigeon grade?
As always, thank you in advance for your advise.
Best,
Jose M. Fernandez

I've never seen a double trigger 101. Have to assume your gun was made for the non-Americn market

Are you sure its a 101? It sounds more like a gun that was built by Luarona marketed as the model 94 [ I think ] .Double triggers that fired barrels in sequence most came with Italian 3" magnum proof which it will have if its the gun I think it is .

http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/721014http://www.doublegunshop.com/showler.htm101 FIELD grade O/U - 12 ga. 26" barrels with fixed Mod/IC chokes (.011”/.006”), .730” hard chromed bores, 8mm wide vent rib, 2 3/4" chambers, brass front bead, jeweled monobloc & ejectors. The shotgun has 28" barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, mod and full fixed chokes and is marked WINCHESTER XTR on the upper barrel. At the bottom of the action is marked "SUPERGRADE" The engraving and finish (silver color) on both sides of the action are identical to a Winchester 101 Pigeon grade that I have for many years. I like the shotgun and want to keep it, but I do not know if the asking price is correct or not (valued like a Pigeon grade Winchester 101).
