Ken, Good plan on the post color case treatment. That sounds like to best of both worlds. I just was worried that all that beautiful engraving would be swallowed up by masking it over with color case. BTW, Is it case color or color case? Randy

Ok, we got it now. You get Ken to engrave DT's pitcher of Pogo with the racing stripes on one side, and the vultures on the other. I'll set up the pantograph and engrave the barrel:

"We have met the enemy, and he is us!"

If you are ever fortunate enough to own a gun that Mr. Hurst has scratched up you will see something new every time you look at it. There is layer upon layer of subtle grace and elegance, far to much to take in at once. Although Ken doesn't agree, I actually prefer it colored, as it adds yet another dimension and makes you look harder to find all that is there. The more you look the more you see.

Mr. Glenn --- It's not that I don't like color cased pieces, I do . However, when there is bolino work involved, I like to see it easily and thats why I remove color and bring to a soft french gray or an English coin finish. When are you gonna come visiting ?
