OP dollysods Sidelock Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 141 The Allegheny Mountains	Here's a little 16 ga. Jones Underlever that I got from Mark Larson. The gun was advertised as a Belgium guild gun when Mark got it. These are the only markings on the gun. It's a sweet little shooter that will see some action in my grouse and woodcock coverts this fall. It just has me curious as to it's homeland. Thanks for any help you might be able to give me. Rick

There was a German express symbol with a crown above a very similar letter E. Can't find anything else yet. I love a good puzzle. Rust never sleeps !

I don't see any Belgian touchmarks only possibly a Austro-Hungarian mixed with the German/Sauer & Sohn process marks. I'd guess the E to be something like Eckoldt. I'll search though.
