We have been discussing a meeting here in West Alabama for a couple of years. He was to come during this past turkey season. Have not heard from him or gotten any reply to contact attempts since early March. I was aware that his cancer had returned and they had removed his leg but he was determined to make it here and kill a turkey with my 32" 16 Sterly. We had also agreed to terms that would allow him to take it when he left.

I ate lunch with Sgt. Mosteller on Saturday at the Southern. He was quite UP and talked a lot about his recent shotgun acquisitions. David (his first name is George but he goes by David) is a super human being & he has been going thru hell. He remains quite positive that he is going to beat the cancer. I believe that if anyone can beat it it will be him.

Glad to hear he is up and about and still chasing Foxes. He is one I would never bet against but had become worried. Next time you see him please ask that he give me a call at his leisure. Just the mention of the gun of interest has brought other PM's hoping to acquire.
