Raimey, the Vietnamese are relicts of the communist regimes in the DDR, Est-Germany and Czechoslovakia.That was a result of the cooperation between this communist regimes.

ill look in to plizen. suposedly it as the last place patton went before giving it to the russians, and he drug his feet doing it. i dont know if it was a headquarters or what but they spent the night at this castle before leaving.

 what appears to be miffilluur. not sure the variations ...  a reference to what looks like "wienn" although it could be "vienn" The "f"s in "Miffilluur" are actually fraktur-style "s"es. That style went out in English around 1800*, but hangs on in Germany and German-speaking Europe until WWII. And the "uu" would be "eu". In other words, "Missilleur". * Consider some of the US's foundational documents, like this image of the Bill of Rights contemporary to its enactment http://law2.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/conlaw/billofrights.jpgSimilarly, the "Vienn" is more likely "Vienne" - French for Vienna. In other words, this maker was not shy about advertising his work and put his name and town on both the barrels and the actions.

I didnt know why everyone was in such a strong agreement until this post. It was somewhat bugging me the spelling but now makes sense. thanks for telling me

wow gunwolf! thank you! i will try to correlate with what information i know and maybe see which castle/castles it came from. i want to thank everyone for your help in this. As you can probably tell, i have been bothered by the lack of info this piece contains. with some luck, may find the original client if it is indeed from 1830-1834 from Johan Missillieur.
