A friend dropped of an old Husqvarna with the stock chopped off. It is a hammer gun with the Lefaucheaux action. I really don't want to start a butt stock from scratch and the stock has been shortened enough that something cannot be grafted. Anyone selling parts?

You could check with Simpson's Ltd. in Galesburg IL. They seem to be importing'em these days. I understand that their agent in Europe that goes around buying guns for them is Swedish.

I prefer wood to plastic, leather to nylon, waxed cotton to Gore-Tex, and split bamboo to graphite.

I have a pair of Husqvarna 51's and just bought an inexpensive beater from Simpsons for parts, stock, forend, locks, trigger guard, butplate etc. were in good shape barrel was loose and pitted. They have a bunch of under levers for very reasonable prices.

It s suprising what you can piece back together and get a gun back to working. This is from an old drilling that found it's way home, both sides were broken and parts of the head of the stock missing. Making pieces and adding in to re-bed the locks and it turned into a decent working gun again.

I've taken it hunting, shot some sporting clays and trap with it, now need to refinish the stock and forend to match.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.
