Any problem sending an antique firearm to Canada? Through the USPS.

I would expect so.

The U.S. has fairly stringent requirements for the EXPORT of firearms and firearms parts. I doubt the internal US definition of antique has much bearing on that as the U.S. is following some international agreements on export rules. Check carefully before just dropping in the mail.

Antique in the US is different from Antique in CA:

Chances are, your gun is not an antique under Canadian law. To them, it's most likely a regular firearm and would have to be imported under their normal guidelines.

I had good success using irunguns.us to bring a vintage churchill side lock up to canada from the US. They have an FFL in Arizona to ship to, then they export/import to their other branch Alberta. They do all the paperwork. They are fast, and reasonable.

What are the rules regarding sending a gun to Canada strictly for repairs?
