OP Parker10guage Sidelock Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 37 Ohio	All, I just purchased a very good H&R 1908 , 16 ga. My question is: the gun has a cap on the grip as well as an original butt plate. All of the photos I have seen do not show a cap on the grip. Do you think this is an add on? This gun is choked full beyond belief , I will use it this spring for our once suggested national bird.
